Durga Puja Theme: Kumartuli Park committee placed a huge chakra (wheel similar to Konark Temple) at their entrance. Inside the pandal, apart from the main Durga idol, 3 separate Mandaps where created where idol of Shri Krishna, Shri Rama, and Shri Narayana (Vishnu) was placed respectively. All the statues were of marble finish. Kumartuli is the place where most of the Maa Durga idol is made in Kolkata, so one can imagine what they create for themselves.
