Durga Puja Theme: There theme for the year 2011 is based on Padma Bhushan Sri Jamini Ray's Art and Rabindra Nath Tagore's SAHAJ PATH, dedicated to Sri Rabindra Nath Thakur's 150 years of Birth Anniversary. As we all know Jamini Ray was one of the most noted painter of Bengal, He was the first elected fellow of the Lalit Kala Akademi, India's National Academy of Art, the highest honour in the fine arts conferred by the Government of India, in 1955. Saying anything about Rabindra Nath Thakur is not required. The chief patron of the Puja is Gautam Haldar (Film Director). This information was provided by General Secretary Sri Devendar Agarwal.
