Durga Puja Theme: A clarion call on PRESERVATION OF SNAKE headed as BANCHABO TOMARE, BANCHTE DAO, Cruel and dreadful, but benevolent to the society as a whole. The inspiration is to change the attitude towards hasty killing of a SNAKE at sight, but its vital role on ecological balance as well as human live saving medicine by using their VENOM are vividly ignored and overlooked including some of their mythological aspects. The beautiful Maa Durga idol is supplementing the glamour of the pandal.
